Nest Cam IQ Indoor doesn’t just help you keep an eye on things. With Google Assistant built in, it can help you manage your everyday tasks, get answers to your questions, and control other connected smart home devices.

Supersight Vision

Equipped with a 4K sensor, HDR, and intelligent imaging, Nest Cam IQ looks after your home in high resolution. It streams 1080p Full HD content to your phone, tablet or laptop. With a wide motion range (180° horizontally, 160° vertically), you can view the whole room, or zoom in to see the detail. In fact, the IQ can automatically zoom in and follow the action for you. This is the same day or night thanks to Night Vision LED sensors which let you see the whole room at night.

Built-in Microphone & Speaker

This lets you tune in to what is going on, and talk back via the Nest app. The speaker is powerful enough to scare off intruders from afar, and with a 3-way microphone array with noise cancellation and echo suppression, you can hear loud and clear.

Get Alerts on Your Phone

If your Nest Cam IQ detects motion or sound, you can receive an activity alert on your smart phone and even an email with a snapshot of what happened.

See live what’s happening at home or go back in time with 3 hour event history snapshots.

Nest Aware

With an additional Nest Aware subscription (sold separately) you can continuously record everything that’s happening, 24/7 – not just clips. So you can scan through up to 30 days of video history to see what you’ve missed. Nest Aware also sends more intelligent alerts.* You can receive an alert when Nest Cam spots a person. You’ll receive alerts when someone’s talking or a dog’s barking. And you can receive an alert when Nest Cam IQ detects a family member or an unfamiliar face. You can create Activity Zones around important areas and receive alerts when something happens there. Or, if your camera detects a door, it can automatically create an Activity Zone for you.

Everything about the Nest Cam is private, using security with 128-bit SSL encryption, Perfect Forward Secrecy and a unique 2048-bit RSA key.

Light Ring

An in-built ring of light around the camera illuminates different colours to let you know what mode it’s in.
